This 10 week course will be delivered in NW Leics, it is subsidised by the National Lottery Community Fund and kind donations from the LUP supporters.
40 hours of mind and body conditioning to improve long term mental Health and physical fitness.
The course is aimed at supporting Men of Leicestershire and raising the wellbeing of our community as a whole.
Monday evenings from 6.30pm -8.30pm will be a series of educational talks/discussions that explore and explain what motivates us, what makes us happy or unhappy, how we can make positive change and how we can help others.
This will be delivered at HDP Medical in Coalville. LE67 3NR.
Tea, coffee, and entertainment will be supplied.
Thursday evenings 6.30pm - 8.30pm will be walking for health sessions where the aim is to improve your physical fitness, confidence in training outdoors and locally, and help you to build resilience leading up to the most stressful time of the year.
Along with a fitness assessment and support from a professional coach and Mountain Leader, you will also be guided on some of the most picturesque walks in NW Leics.
This combination of Mind & Body training is extremely effective in raising individual performance & wellbeing. The skills developed can be shared to improve local community support, whether in the family, workplace, or wider community.
We have a strong ethos that has served us well.

Starting and finishing at Ilam Country Park - This 10k leisurely guided walk takes in the rivers and open countryside of the White Peaks. It will take roughly 5 hours, as the aim is to enjoy the company and the countryside.
This fundraising event will assist us in working with members of our community that require a little support to get through the tough times. - Open to all adults (no dogs please)

The Mountain challenges are run by Yompfit Ltd, led by a qualified Mountain Leader and supported by Top Cover Medics Ltd.
Attendee's are invited to use the event to raise funds for the project or their own charity.
All profits raised from ticket sales will go towards the Leg Up Project CIC.
Elidir Fawr is the 13th highest mountain in Wales and the northernmost peak in the Glyderau range. It stands at 924 m (3,031ft) making it one of the 15 Welsh mountains above 3000ft.
The route is not technically difficult but will require a fair amount of hard work!
You will not need any prior experience of mountain walking; however, you will need to be medically fit and have the correct equipment to attempt the challenge.
A kit list will be emailed to all attendees to ensure you are aware of the equipment you require.
